The Czech capital
city provides a wide variety of epicurean restaurants, some old., some
brand new, offering a true gourmet experience in the romatic city of
spires. Most of these can be found in the heart of old Prague with
stunning views
of
the
historical
district,
but
make reservations ahead, as tables in the best spots tend to be booked
up well in advance. Two of Prague’s newer restaurants were recently
awarded Michelin Stars.
La Degustation Bohême Bourgeoise
Experience traditional Czech Bohemian cuisine reconceptualized through
a modern interpretation. This unique dining sensation in a setting like
a wine celler, has no comparison within the borders Czech Republic. The
focuses here is on updated classic menus from the Czech culinary tradition
of the late 19th century. A special treat for guests is to watch meals

Alcron Restaurant .
A supreme dinner surrounded by the style of Art Deco can be enjoyed
at this intimate restaurant located in the Radisson Blu Alcron Hotel.
With a décor featuring an original marble fireplace from the
1930’s with wallpaper inspired by the work of Czech art/designer
Tamara de Lempicka forge an unforgettable charming atmosphere. Reservations
are essential as there is only seating for 24 in the intimate space.
Gourmet dishes are served in the style of a tasting menu, along with
exemplary service and beautiful interiors all promise a spectacular

Zlaté Studne
For dining with a spectacular view of Prague, the terrace is the
place. The historic building itself dates back to 1528 as part of
the old
medieval city. From this terrace style restaurant below the city castle,
take in the view that names Prague as the City of a Hundred Spires.
After an afternoon lunch at this location you can take a stroll through
the Prague Castle gardens, just directly off the terrace. In 2012,
this establishment was named as restaurant of the year by the best-known

Art Nouveau
French Restaurant
For an evocative peek into the imperial era, try this traditional spot
located in the Municipal House city hall near the powder tower and Astronoical
Clock. This long standing Prague mainstay restaurant offers a century

back

a time when
Prague was the center of Central European culture and awash with the
style of Art Nouveau. The food is equally artistic in appearance and
flavor. Here you can have the feeling of being old world royalty and
that everything revolves your every whim. And a romantic evening can

Céleste Restaurant at the Dancing House
For lunch on the castle hill - located inside the Dancing House with
a beautiful view of the Prague Castle, the Céleste Restaurant
is a genuine gem of modern architecture. This restaurant prepares

of classic French cuisine, with an emphasis on food presentation paired
